ICEF Public Schools is actively recruiting dynamic educators to serve as High-Impact Teachers (HIT) at ICEF View Park High School, delivering exceptional classroom instruction in various subjects while serving as teacher leaders across ICEF’s multi-school network. As the driving force behind innovative model classroom instruction, these HIT instructors will refine cutting-edge teaching methodologies, including personalized learning and data-driven instruction, allowing other educators to observe their teaching practices for observation and mentorship.
In the target academic area of Mathematics, the HIT instructor will deliver a high-quality, rigorous curriculum in a student-centered, inquiry-based environment, using formative and summative assessment data to drive instructional decision-making and student growth.
High Quality Instruction
- Serve as models of instructional excellence for teachers across the network.
- Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with ICEF’s academic vision and curriculum.
- Plan and implement engaging lessons that drive measurable student outcomes.
- Use data to inform instruction and differentiate learning experiences.
- Lead pilot programs and innovation projects to improve student achievement.
High-Impact Tutoring
- Lead an after-school tutoring program tailored to individual student needs.
- Utilize structured lesson plans and instructional strategies to accelerate student learning.
- Work with both assigned students and students from other classrooms as needed.
Professional Development & Coaching
- Participate in weekly coaching meetings for professional growth.
- Review materials from professional development sessions.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school leadership to improve teaching strategies and student engagement.
- Serve as a resource for fellow educators seeking to improve instructional practices.
Qualifications - Required
- Minimum of 2 years of full-time teaching experience with a strong track record of student achievement (application will require documented evidence of student growth and achievement)
- Experience in urban education or high-performing charter schools.
- Valid Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics (or willingness to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree
- Passion for educational innovation and teacher leadership.
- Strong data-analysis skills, with the ability to use student performance data to drive instruction.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications - Preferred
- Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
- Training in instructional coaching models or teacher development programs.
- Experience with project-based learning, culturally responsive teaching, and blended learning models.
